Hello! I’m Kayleigh Erickson, a resident of the Santa Ynez Valley since 2017. I was born & raised in Porterville, California and shortly after graduating high school in 2015 I met my husband Clayson Erickson.

Growing up, my grandfather was an orthodontist. I fell in love with dentistry while working for him as his Dental Assistant in High School. I attended Cuesta College as well as Alan Hancock College where I went through the Dental Assisting program and graduated with an Associates Degree of Science in Dental Assisting in 2019.

I practiced as a Registered Dental Assistant for Dr. Adam Haws in Buellton from 2019-2023 as well as working part time for my family’s company “Erickson Electric”. I put my love for dentistry on hold as I became a mother to my sweet boy Rhett in November of 2023. My world was forever changed!

Becoming a mom has been my greatest accomplishment. I am blessed to be able to stay home with Rhett and continue working part time for Erickson Electric.

I have always loved fitness and incorporating it into my daily routine is very important to not only my physical health but my mental health as well. In September of 2024 Brooke Volpe started Fit4Mom Santa Ynez Valley. Rhett and I attended the Grand Opening and I instantly knew that this was something we needed! I have been attending as many classes as possible and have loved every second! This group that has now become family is my therapy.

Brooke approached me and asked if I would be interested in becoming an instructor. There was no hesitation and I accepted! I am now certified in Stroller Strides and plan on getting more certifications in the near future. I will be instructing Stroller Strides at Sunny Field Park in Solvang, CA on Mondays at 9:30am. I look forward to seeing where this journey takes me. I am so thankful for Brooke and Fit4mom for giving me this opportunity!
